Generate audio first, then download the completed item. No sign-up is needed. Each request accepts up to 2,000 characters.

1. Enter Your Text

Paste text, select a voice and preview it. Split long documents at sentence or paragraph boundaries. Keep each part within the character limit.

2. Generate Audio

Choose Generate Audio, wait for completion and check pronunciation with Play. If generation fails, keep your text and retry later or select another voice.

3. Download Your Audio

Choose Download on the completed item. Names start with texttovoice- and end in .mp3. Your browser controls the save location; generation alone does not save a file to Downloads.

  • Chrome / Edge on desktop: Downloads → Show in folder.
  • Safari on macOS: use Downloads and check the configured download location.
  • iPhone / iPad: check Downloads in Files or the location chosen in Safari settings.
  • Android: check the browser’s Downloads list or the Files app.

The request uses MP3, 24 kHz, 48 kbit/s, mono. Renaming a file does not convert its encoding.

Troubleshooting

Why is the download button missing?

Wait for generation to finish. Failed or unfinished items have no downloadable audio. Check text length and your connection, then retry.

Why did the download not start?

Check the browser’s downloads list, free disk space and download permissions. Try again and keep the page open until the file is saved.

Why did my history disappear?

History uses localStorage and IndexedDB in this browser, not an account. Clearing site data, private browsing or switching profiles may remove it. Download files for a lasting copy.
