Terms and service scope
By using TextToVoice you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. You must have authority to accept these terms; users who need a guardian’s permission should obtain it first.
The website provides text-to-speech, voice previews, effect controls, playback and MP3 downloads. The basic tool is free and requires no account. Each conversion accepts up to 2,000 characters.
Availability and limits
Conversion depends on connectivity and third-party speech services. A directory listing does not guarantee that a voice works at all times. Rate limits, maintenance and upstream changes may affect the service. We do not guarantee a fixed daily allowance, uninterrupted availability, particular pronunciation quality or response time.
Features, voices and limits may change. Review generated results for important uses and save the files you need.
Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for submitted text, your purposes and publication of generated audio. Follow applicable law and relevant third-party terms.
- Submit text you own or have the necessary permission to use.
- Do not infringe copyright, privacy, likeness, voice or other rights.
- Do not use generated audio for fraud, impersonation, harassment or unlawful content.
- Do not abuse the service, disrupt others or evade rate limits.
Audio usage rights
TextToVoice does not grant an unconditional commercial license to third-party voices or generated content. A download button is not commercial authorization. Before publishing, selling or advertising with audio, verify your text permissions, the speech provider’s applicable terms and any other required rights.
Your existing content rights do not transfer to TextToVoice simply by using the tool. You allow submitted content to be processed by the relevant online services to perform the conversion.
Privacy and local history
Text is sent for speech processing and audio history is saved in the current browser. Clearing site data, private browsing, storage eviction or switching devices may remove history. Download files you need to keep.
Reviewing results and liability
The service is provided as available. Generated output may contain pronunciation, timing or other errors and should not replace work requiring professional judgment or human verification.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TextToVoice makes no compensation commitment for interruptions, third-party changes or loss of unbacked-up local data. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted, or remove mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and stopping use
Violations or misuse may lead to restricted requests. You may stop using the service and clear local site data at any time. Changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated date.
